THE BEST Kingfish Sashimi

Bright, Zingy and Refreshing

Ingredients

  • Sliced Fresh Kingfish (works well with Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore, Kahawai, Koheru, and more)
  • Coriander Bunch (Stems and Leaves)
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1/2 Green Chili
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 2 - 3 Limes Juiced
  • Cucumber

Instructions

  1. In a small blender - blend corriander, garlic, green chilli, sugar, fish sauce and lime juice into a dressing.
  2. Thinly slice Kingfish against the grain and arrange on a plate.
  3. Spoon dressing onto sliced fish.
  4. Peel cucumber into ribbons and arrange over fish.
  5. Garnish with slices of the remaining green chilli and corriander.
  6. Voila, enjoy!

Easy and delicious sesame dressing for tuna

Ingredients

  • Thinly Sliced Fresh Tuna
  • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 Tablespoon Crispy Chilli Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Lime Juiced
  • 2 Teaspoons Sesame Seeds
  • Garnish Spring Onion, Crispy Fried Shallot, and more Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Add soy sauce, mirin, crispy chilli oil, sesame oil, lime juice, and sesame seeds into a jar. Shake well to combine.
  2. Thinly slice your tuna and arrange on a plate. Pour over the dressing.
  3. Garnish with crispy shallots, sliced spring onion and more sesame seeds. And you’re done.
